In honor of the impending release of the next book in the Guadel Chronicles (Thawing Fortunes), I'd like to announce a contest which will run from now until July 1st.
In association with the contest, I'm releasing a free coupon code (AZ28V) to go download Frozen Prospects from Smashwords. The coupon code is only good until the 10th of June, so you'll want to get cracking on that part of the contest.
Once you've read Frozen Prospects, go post a review to any of the major sites (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Smashwords, The Sony Bookstore, The Apple Bookstore, or Goodreads) and you'll get an entry for each review worth a chance to win one of three prize packages. If you've got a blog, or have a friend that will let you do a guest review on their blog, that is worth an entry as well. If you know another site that caters to fantasy readers, contact me with the link and I'll probably approve that site too.
Once you've posted the review, e-mail me a copy of the review at the contact address listed elsewhere on this site. I'll wait a couple of days for it to post and then go out and confirm it and respond with an acknowledgment that you're in the contest. July 1st I'll go through and draw three names. The first name drawn gets their pick from the three prize packages below, the second gets to pick between the two remaining packages and the third person gets whichever package hasn't yet been claimed.
Once Thawed Fortunes comes out, roughly the 10th of June, you can post reviews of Thawed Fortunes for credit as well.
In order to keep the contest moving along, you'll have 48 hours from the time I contact you to find out which package you'd like to respond. If you don't respond in that timeframe, I'll give the next person in line first pick and you'll get whatever is left at the end.
